Nintendo Entertainment System Classic: NES Classic finally hits the market shelves. While a lot of people want the popular current-gen consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, there are those who prefer the less modern gaming device, the refreshed 1980’s NES Classic that is expected to become extremely popular, yet only limited.

Nintendo Classic is also available at the physical stores, but the buyers need to get there very early to have a better chance of the item. In fact, a long line of buyers is expected, according to Beta News.

Meanwhile, Nintendo has formally announced that Wii U production will no longer continue, as market sales for the gaming console have reportedly been declining for some time now. The announcement was made before the launch of the company’s follow-up, the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo announced the shutdown, confirming that they have already sent all the stock meant to bring to all American retailers, for the upcoming holiday season. In addition, all Wii U hardware that will be offered in the North American region for the current fiscal year has reportedly been delivered to their retail partners. Meantime, Nintendo of America released a statement, encouraging everyone that is interested in purchasing Wii U to contact their preferred retail store to check for the console’s availability.
